This woman ruined my life. I was in the process of being treated for bipolar I then moved to Newark and was seen by her. She rejected two other consultants diagnosis took me off all medication resulting in a total manic episode followed by lows. She doesn't listen she rejects other consultants views recommendations and diagnosis. She is rude and always has students in with her. I will never see her again

This doctor was my husband's consultant when he was sectioned under the mental health act at Millbrook hospital, Sutton in Ashfield. Even though I was my husband's main carer my views on his treatment were ignored , Dr Innes was self absorbed and only took on board her opinions. It got so bad and I was so concerned about his treatment I served a 'nearest relative' order giving the hospital 72 hours to release him into my care. The woman is so arrogant, that I will not deal with her or any of her associates. She will not take on board any of your views and treats you with contempt. She uses meetings with you with groups of other student doctors, nurses, trying to intimidate you. I would not recommend this woman.

Would not see her again as she told social services my wife was a patient of dr caroline innes , not true , I went to another trust for care
